SHINee 的鐘鉉在18日傍晚自殺身亡，得年27歲，各界哀悼。然而就在今天 (12/19) 凌晨，一名 BTS 防彈少年團 RM 的粉絲團團長在推特上發文，表示自己追隨了 SHINee 8年的粉絲好友在得知鐘鉉的消息後也自殺身亡，這位團長也力勸所有喜愛鐘鉉的朋友們要好好活著。

「15分鐘以前… 她過世了，永遠地和他 (指鐘鉉) 一起笑著了… 再也沒有苦痛… 妳啊… 謝謝妳追隨了他8年… 我會想念妳的，我的朋友 🙁 R.I.P

我想對一個鐘鉉韓站朋友表達我的愛，她是日本人。雖然我們彼此在不同的粉絲團，但我們仍常常交談。很遺憾聽到鐘鉉過世的消息，但拜託，請堅強。請愛自己。

天使們回到了他們的家鄉… 再也不痛苦了… 我們 (指跟自殺的粉絲) 上次碰面是在《2017 MAMA》，她是到場支持泰民的… 她真的很愛 SHINee ㅠㅠ 謝謝妳的餅乾，我永遠不會忘記的… 妳和他一起回家了呢… 也謝謝妳在演唱會的時候教我怎麼設定 ISO… 愛妳，我的好姊妹。」

消息傳開後，網友們紛紛留言安慰這名朋友。對於來確認消息的粉絲，親友在推特上再次證實：「雖然我也很震驚，但是是真的。」並為了自己將不好的消息帶到推特上表示抱歉。針對網友詢問該名粉絲是哪家韓站站長，親友表示：「關於她的站… 父母希望我們保密，不過她也沒有別的 SHINee 站了。朋友們… 請堅強、請不要傷害自己。可能的話我們會去開她的 gmail 看看，另外也請不要捐款給她，因為她在生前希望錢能夠捐給更加需要的人們。」
